Raised on the idea that life is a journey, Nana Winston channels this concept through every album, infusing each composition with a blend of heavy riffs and sweeping orchestral elements. The third and latest album upcoming album, Whispers In The Waning Light (2025), will explore the moral decline of society, the fall of empires, and the eternal battle between light and darkness. It’s a sonic journey inspired by real-life reflection and growth.
Nana Winston’s music is not bound by the conventions of traditional metal. There’s a constant search for something deeper—an echo of hope amidst the chaos. Each album is meticulously crafted to reflect a personal story of transformation, beginning with Godless In Freefall (2021), a raw portrayal of disillusionment and spiritual questioning, and followed by Of Sorrow and Surrender (2024), a tribute to the trials of life, death, and reconciliation.

When not immersed in the creative process, I enjoys the finer things in life—Tequila and a good cigar, along with quality time spent with my wife and our three cats, Minnow, Ootah-Bahndha, and Newton. A laid-back soul and a graphic designer by day, I believe in savoring life’s journey, one moment at a time.
